We’re pleased to announce the winners in our first “Name A Race Horse, Win A Prize” Contest!

First Prize in the Colt contest goes to Tamara Morris, for “Seven-Ten Split.”

In the sport of Tenpins (our colt’s sire), the Seven-Ten Split is the most difficult of all shots to convert.  But if you give it a try – IT CAN BE DONE!    In choosing this name for our colt the Judges were sensitive to the kinship between converting the Seven-Ten Split and winning a Grade- I Stake.  We’re going to give that one a try because - IT CAN BE DONE!

Second Prize goes to William R. Kamerer for “Lucky Strike;”  Third Prize to Courtney White for “Saratoga Striker;”  and Fourth Prize to Lisa Boyle for “Retrostrike.”

First Prize in the Filly contest goes to Kim Thurler, for “Twylight Cocktails.”
The Judges were impressed with Ms Thurler’s creativity in combining the name of our filly’s sire, Gibson County (there’s a cocktail called a Gibson) and her dam, Twyla.  Perhaps when she wins her first Stakes Race we’ll gather on the patio around 7:30 in the evening and we’ll celebrate with Twylight Cocktails.

Second Prize goes to Marion E. Altieri for “Tiny Dancer;”  Third Prize to Greg Marsh for “Pins And Needles;”  and Fourth Prize to Sophie Hyett for “Florida Angel.”

Names have been submitted to The Jockey Club and we believe we’ll have them approved very soon.

Many thanks to all who entered our contest.  We had a wonderful time gleaning through the names you submitted.  Outstanding job, everyone.  We’ll be doing it again soon!

Thank you for your interest in All Play Stable.
